What is the Physical Activity Programme?
This free 12 week programme is based on getting you up and moving. Delivered across all of our YMCA centres and local community centres, the programme consists of supervised physical activity sessions which are delivered by our team and are designed to help you improve your physical and mental well being.
Who is it for?
The programme is for anyone with a GP located in Fylde and Wyre and as long as you’re older than 18, have at least one health condition and classed as inactive (less than 5 x 30 mins physical activity per week) then this programme is for you.

What it isn’t about
- Intense gym sessions.
- Pressured into lung busting exercises.
- Being judge and made to feel uncomfortable.

Is it for me?
This free programme is ideal if you are looking at how to become slightly more active. Differing from our Weight Management Programme, this programme is about teaching you how to get slightly more active through manageable activities, both in the gym and outside of it.
